Join artist Clare Grace in the first Toolkit/demo session of our spring/summer 2017 course programme! Clare is a printed textile designer who has just moved into a WYPW studio. Over the last 33 years Clare Grace has taught at various Art Schools in Yorkshire and Lancashire, including Leeds College of Art, Wakefield College and Batley School of Art, as well as working as a freelance designer.

“My work is painterly and colourful, it looks at social and political messages expressed in applied art. In this session I will show you some of my latest collections and how I take them through into print using hand produced Kodatraces. I will also demonstrate registration methods when screen printing onto a textile print table for placement and repeated pattern.”
