Learn the basics of textile screen printing in our fully equipped workshop and take home t-shirts and bags and samples printed with your very own designs!

No experience necessary. The course covers making screens using the photo-exposure processes, and printing using water-based inks. 2 plain white t-shirts and 2 calico bags are included in the course cost, and extra are available to purchase on the day in a range of mens and womens sizes.

Karen Stansfield is a textile artist, studio holder and member at WYPW. Karen started her career in surface pattern design, specialising in printing onto cloth, embroidery and fashion garment construction. Over the past twenty five years she has worked in a wide variety of areas within the creative industries designing and making, which incorporated a period of time making costumes for television and theatre.

Karen devises and delivers workshops teaching printmaking and other art based skills to people of all ages and abilities within the Yorkshire region, working in both school and community settings. She also produces her own art work which she exhibits locally and nationally.
