Project co-ordinator “Postkarte from the Front”

Terms: (Freelance contract) £1500 (150 hrs@ £10/hr, (£19292 fte)

WYPW have been successful in obtaining Heritage Lottery funding for a project based around a collection of original WW1 postcards. This coincides with the 100th anniversary of the battle of the Somme. The culmination of the project will be an exhibition within the gallery at WYPW, which will include a selection of the postcards, and additional relevant artwork and interpretation generated by working with local schools and the community.
WYPW requires a project co-ordinator to assist the outreach and exhibitions co-ordinators in the delivery of the project. This post requires good organisational skills with the ability to plan, organise and co-ordinate projects working with schools, external groups and the community. The project will commence in March and finish in November 2016.
