Spend the day learning how to use a blank silkscreen to create one of a kind monoprints. The course will involve using hand cut paper stencils and drawing directly onto the mesh of the screen to create multi-layered, experimental work. Using this fun, freeing process you will come away with a stack of one off prints and a new skill.

Miriam Trent is a full time Illustrator/Designer, and uses printmaking in her work, mainly screen print and lino print. She has her own printed homewares business, Mintprint, and is passionate about design, art, illustration and surface pattern. She enjoys helping students to find their own path, and problem solving with them to achieve the results they want. Miriam has been teaching workshops at WYPW since 2011 when she won the Flourish Award for Printmaking.
