Flourish Award 2015- Call for Entries!

If you are a printmaker based in the UK, you should consider entering this year's Flourish Award!

The Flourish Award was established in 2009 by West Yorkshire Print Workshop to champion and showcase excellence in printmaking across Yorkshire. The award provides artists and printmakers with the opportunity to exhibit their work in a group exhibition at the WYPW Gallery and, should they win the award, go on to present their own solo print exhibition at Huddersfield Art Gallery in 2016. The winner will also have the opportunity to undertake a two-week residency at WYPW.

To enter the forthcoming Flourish Award printmakers must register online and upload up to three images for selection by our independent panel of judges. The registration deadline is Sunday 6 September 2015.

Artists whose work is shortlisted from this process will be invited to include their work in the six-week long Flourish exhibition held at West Yorkshire Print Workshop, which will run between 26 September and 7 November. During the exhibition our panel of judges will select the winning printmaker- the Flourish Award Printmaker of the Year- and two commended artists.

The winner will have the opportunity to plan a solo exhibition at Huddersfield Art Gallery for 2016. In addition, the winner will also have the opportunity to undertake a two-week residency at WYPW.

Standard entry fee for the Flourish Award 2015 is £20.
