February PTK printmaking demo- Large-Scale Aluminium Etching

Our Printmaker's Toolkit Session (PTK) for February will be with WYPW member Graham Riding. Graham has spent the past year in the workshops here at WYPW getting to grips with using copper sulphate to etch aluminium plates. He uses hard ground, drypoint, open-bite and hand-burnishing to create his dark, atmospheric prints, without the need for aquatint. Come and join him for an informal discussion and ‪demonstration‬ of his working process.
