Handmade Marks in Screen Print – Printmaker’s Toolkit Session

Our January PTKdemo runs alongside our exhibition of work by Artists@WYPW – our multi-talented group of studio holders, of which Clare Grace is one. The exhibition is based on collaboration and exchange of skills and ideas, focusing on simple methods of #printmaking.

In this session, Clare will be talking about and demonstrating how she uses the screen drawing fluid method. This technique involves drawing and painting directly onto a blank #silkscreen to create positive marks which can then be printed from. It is an alternative to the widely-used photo-exposure technique and can be used to great effect.
