WORDfest Crawley WORDfest Crawley
WORDfest is Crawley’s first ever festival dedicated to celebrating words and writing in their many forms. Spearheaded by Waterstone’s County Mall Booksellers, Crawley Library and independent community facilitators. It is a grassroots 13 day programme of events in various locations around the town including Crawley Library, The Hawth Theatre, in schools and with local businesses.
We aim to be as inclusive as possible and have endeavoured to keep our programme diverse and tickets low cost with most events and workshops being either £3 or totally free!
We are a voluntary organisation and rely on community participation, our fantastic volunteers, organisers and sponsors in kind. We also get the word out using social media as our primary marketing tool so if you like what we do please talk/shout/tweet about us!
