Here's a guide to adding your content to the site...
-
How to Register
The Creative Torbay online network is all about providing a space for creative individuals, businesses and places to share what they do. If you're a creative of any kind, be it an artist, producer, creative organisation, creative business or venue, you can create a profile page and showcase your work to others in Torbay & Devon and beyond.
-
Add or edit your Profile
The first page you'll see when you enter your My Account area is My Creative Home, from which you can see the top rated content on the site, view your profile once published, view your reviews, and check to see if you've been sent any messages by other site members.
-
Adding Other Content
Hopefully you've already read our guide to adding a profile to the directory, but are you aware of all the other types of creative content you can add to your profile and how to link to social media?
-
Contacting Other Site Members
Any member of the site can contact another user by clicking the Contact link at the top of their profile. This will send a message to the user that will appear in their creative space on the site, and also send a copy of the message to them by email. You can also add a user to your list of creative contacts by clicking the Add Contact link
-
Adding Comments & Reviews
Have you worked with someone who's listed their profile in the directory? Or perhaps you attended an event and want to leave a rave review? You can do so by adding comments and reviews, which all help add credibility to a user's profile and let others know what they can expect.
-
Adding Images, Video and Audio
Images, Video & Audio - your profile will thank you for adding some colour in the form of images, which display on your profile as an image gallery. You can also add video, either by uploading directly or by embedding videos from YouTube and Vimeo, and also audio too. See the sections below for more detail on how to do each of these:
-
Information for spaces & venues
If you are a space or venue here is some additional information to help you get the best out of your profile. Explain in your profile how your space or venue can be used by artists, musicians, performers.
