Young People's Book Making Workshop
Thursday 5 April, 2pm
Share your stories about local places and fill pages of your very own miniature book.
We would like to invite you to join local artist Jane Glynn to participate in a bookmaking workshop and explore your thoughts of local places. During this 2-hour workshop you will learn to use a range of papers, collage, drawing and/or writing to create and fill your own handmade book, relating it to your favourite or significant local places. You will leave the session with the knowledge and skills to create further books at home. No previous experience required; these sessions are suitable for everybody.
Workshop
This workshop is run by UHArts as part of the New Geographies project which aims to redraw the map of the East of England with stories of overlooked or forgotten places and will culminate in 10 new art commissions across the region in response to public nominations which happened over Summer 2017.
