Cardboard Fox in concert at Meltham

Winners of the 2015 Spiral Earth Award for Best Debut, Cardboard Fox is an exciting young British band who have been making a name for themselves on the acoustic scene over the past couple of years. All four musicians have their roots in bluegrass but their collective influences and their own music range across folk, jazz and more. The band features the sibling harmonies of Charlotte and Laura Carrivick (the Carrivick Sisters) on guitar/vocals and fiddle/vocals respectively, alongside talented musicians Joe Tozer (mandolin) and John Breese (double bass). With a focus on original songs with a strong pop sensibility and energetic live shows, Cardboard Fox entertains with first-class musicianship, immaculate harmony vocals and a quirky creative approach to their material.

True North Music put on concerts in Huddersfield, Holmfirth and Sheffield, specialising in world class folk and roots, bluegrass and Americana. The Carlile Institute in Meltham is the perfect setting for intimate gigs. There is full accessibility with a modern lift as well as the original grand staircase, parking directly behind the venue and bus service direct to the door.
