'WHAT'S THE STORY' CHILDREN'S EVENT AT TORQUAY MUSEUM

As part of 'Sharing Stories' a festival celebrating Storytelling and Writing on the English Riviera
To celebrate 'World Book Day', Torbay Museums (Brixham Heritage Museum, Torre Abbey Museum and Torquay Museum) will be hosting a weekend of events, tours, talks and presentations with the theme of 'Sharing Stories'

‘What’s the story?’ Children's event
Find out about Charlie Cook’s favourite book, then make up your own stories and characters using our mixed up characters and props at the museum. Add to our never ending story and create your own story scenes.
Suitable for ages 3 to 12 years. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
All events are FREE to attend, but a valid Museum entry ticket for adults for Torquay Museum/Torre Abbey Museum events is required*. Pay once and get in free for a year. Children enter for FREE during 'Sharing Stories' Saturday Festival.
Children - Come along in your favourite book character costume and take part in the 'Best Dressed' competition with a chance to win a fabulous prize! Judging will take place at 11.45am at Torquay Museum.
