FAMILY-FRIENDLY BRICK BUILT LEGO® MODELS EXHIBITION LAUNCH
Date: 26 May 2018
Action-Packed LEGO® Models Exhibition Launch, 10am - 4pm
To celebrate the opening of Torquay Museum's LEGO® models summer blockbuster exhibition, there will be a special action-packed family-friendly launch day. Visitors will not only be able to marvel at the stunning LEGO® models in the Brick Built LEGO® Models exhibition, but will also be able to:
Make their own models, using play Lego, which can be added to a special Lego town.
Use a Virtual Reality headset to walk through a Lego-themed building.
Build Lego digitally using laptops loaded with special Lego Builder software.
There will also be a chance to become a stone-age cave artist and make your own cave painting by torchlight at the Museum, to celebrate Geopark Festival Week. Visitors can handle stone-age tools, skulls and pots, and make their own stone-age vessel from clay. There will be an additional charge for this activity, £4 per child (siblings £3), adults free with a paying child.
Brick Built: an Exhibition of LEGO® Models is sponsored by Torquay-based architects, Kay Elliott.
