Established in 1969, Torbay Karate Club is one of the oldest Shotokan Karate clubs in the UK. Our focus is on high quality Shotokan Karate, an effective and strong traditional martial art taught in our club in its full depth. We don’t cut corners or dilute for commercial gain. Grades are truly earned and internationally recognised (can be used as part of GCSE and A-Level PE Syllabus). To learn Karate with our club is an empowering lifelong journey with great personal rewards. We are proud to be affiliated with the KUGB (www.kugb.org), by far the largest and most successful single-style association in Great Britain.
New members are very welcome (from 6yrs up).
