TAPA are the council run music advisory service for education in the bay. We are responsible for the Torbay Schools Festival of Performing Arts in the Spring, The Westward Symphony Orchestra concert in the Summer, a variety of youth ensembles as well as advising on all aspects of music tuition and education in the bay. We have a stock of instruments available to hire to school children, we can put parents in touch with instrumental teachers and we can offer limited funding to pupils (conditions apply) via the governments Standards Fund for many different aspects of music education in schools.
