Tea & Cake at Tolson Museum
Honley’s long-lost pleasure resort Hope Bank is the subject of the next Tea & Cake meeting at Tolson Museum, Huddersfield on Wednesday, 13 March.
Hope Bank Pleasure Grounds was a massive attraction in the early and middle part of the 1900s. How it came about and what became of it will be revealed at the social afternoon in the museum in Ravensknowle Park, Wakefield Road, between 2pm and 3.30pm.
Tea & Cake sessions are run by the Friends of Tolson Museum and are held on the second Wednesday of every month in the museum in Ravensknowle Park on Wakefield Road. They are free to attend.
