I. Awakening Planetary Imagination — Geneen Marie Haugen, Ph.D.
Earth poets, desert mystics, star gaspers, and other visionaries suggest, by their lives or the shape of their work, how they have ruffled their own psychic habits (intentionally or not) in order to become more sensitized to the longings of Earth and the Others. We’ll briefly explore some of the consciousness-altering practices engaged by these visionaries, including ceremony, praise, wonder, shapeshifting, and more — practices that help shift awareness and open perception of our animate, intelligent, imaginative Earth and community of life.

II. Revisioning Ecopsychology and Depth Psychology: A Soulcraft Overview -

An overview of the work of Animas Valley Institute, where Soulcraft has been developing since 1980, suggesting new possibilities for both ecopsychology
and depth psychology. Topics might include: Cultivating individual wholeness as more valuable than psychological healing (and also as the foundation for the most effective healing); Eco-Awakening (becoming a full participant in the Earth Community); the nine (or ten) major initiatory passages of a full human life; the five phases of one particular passage: Soul Initiation. We’ll muse on the relationships between Soul Initiation, cultural renaissance, and the Great Turning.
