Jill Kemp is passionate about raising the recorder’s profile and proving it to be an exciting and versatile instrument. Jill’s repertoire spans seven centuries, and she regularly performs premieres and new commissions. Jill has broadcast on the BBC, Classic FM and American, Italian and Polish television. Recital venues throughout Europe and the USA include Carnegie Hall, the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Harrogate International Festival, Castle Howard and the Isle of Man Early Music Festival. She has performed with many ensembles, including Red Priest, the Brodowski Quartet, Stile Antico and the LSO.

Her programme is a delightful mixture of 18th century French and German works, and Gordon Jacob’s sparkling Sonatina.
