Spend the day with local ice-cream maker and talented flavour alchemist, Matai Jowitt and make your own frozen delights. Matai runs Creamo’s, www.creamos.co.uk a craft ice cream company in Ashburton, Devon.
Matai creates two brand new flavours every fortnight and then announces them to his ice cream loving followers. The flavours they choose are hand delivered to their door and are promptly consumed.
With spoons at the ready delve into a day of ice-cream making and discover how various ingredients and different freezing methods can influence the texture and flavour of your ice-cream.
Matai will share his expertise as you learn the simple methods of making ice-creams, granita, parfaits and fruit sorbets.
Recipes will include made-by-hand techniques as well as methods using an ice cream machine. The course will end with a grand tasting.
