Craft of Natural Button Making

This workshop will introduce you to the construction of three types of button. Ceramic, Press-moulded buttons, wooden ash/hazel buttons and toggles and the traditional Dorset Button made with sheep’s horn. You will be provided with all materials and threads required. It would be helpful if you could bring with you a small pair of embroidery scissors and a selection of hand sewing needles including sharp crewels and blunt tapestry needles.
