Craft of Ceramics: 2 Day Course: Tile Making

10am - 4pm

With Richenda MacGregor and Mel Chambers.
On day one you will learn to make inlay tiles using an age-old craft which has been practised since Roman Times. This part of the course is taught by Mel Chambers. On the second day there will be an introductory Raku firing workshop, including tuition in various glazing techniques and naked Raku on ready-made tiles. This part of the course is taught by Richenda Macgregor. We will also provide design materials. These beautiful tiles will make great seasonal gifts.
