Boat Building and Archiving Volunteers

The Boat Project is is something everyone get can involved in; whether you’re nine or ninety, live by the sea or in land-locked Oxfordshire – the entire South East, and indeed, the country is invited to get involved with The Boat Project.

We are looking for people who'd like to work alongside the professional team of boatwrights to help build the boat; we are looking for people who would like to help us catalogue and look after the donations we receive; we are looking for people who'd like to help us out at the build shed to arrange and co-ordinate events, including the launch of the boat in May 2012 or who just want to get involved in whatever way they can.

The Boat Project is an opportunity to see the stuff of our lives, our stories and our experiences come together and create something that will stand as a record of our time. And it’s something that will bring adventure and excitement to the region for many years to come. Come along and be a part of it.
