Hello Hertfordshire friends, I'm often asked what was the inspiration behind the masks in Heaven's Rage?
Well it's a complicated and a simple answer.
Whilst being a combination of some personal factors, visual interest and personal ideas that I would prefer to be interpreted it is also a huge homage to the Mask series between the Romanian and American cartoonist Saul Steinberg and the Magnum photographer Inge Morath.
