Harry Bolt brings a fresh interpretation to both modern and traditional jazz piano. He plays with palpable enthusiasm, soul and flair. His compositions and playing take inspiration from such giants as Brad Mehldau, Aaron Parks and John Taylor. From bop to stride, from traditional to the contemporary – Harry surprises both his audience and himself.
Harry was proud to have been mentored by the late, great John Taylor for 4 years and has had the good fortune to play alongside Jeff Ballard, Perico Sambeat and Mark Turner. He has toured the UK with the prestigious Clark Tracey Quintet for 3 years during which time he recorded two 5 star albums (Jazzwise).
Much in demand at all of London’s main clubs, Harry has recently played as far afield as Smalls Jazz Club in New York City and a selection of international jazz festivals.
His debut album Piece by Piece is forthcoming and will be followed by an extensive tour of the UK.
