The Call of Cthulhu
Adapted from the classic tale of H.P. Lovecraft.
Based on the original story from 1926, The Call of Cthulhu re-creates the horror of Lovecraft’s science fiction terror. The story revolves around three related tales concerning the strange influences of an ancient, malevolent ‘god’ residing in the depths of the ocean and in the slumbering minds of men, waiting to rise again to ultimate dominion.
Appealing to a cult audience across an expansive popular culture, The Call of Cthulhu stands as an epic influence on the horror/sci-fi genre. Full of subtle terror, Sabbaton weaves this character driven tale into a one man tapestry of
atmospheric, intimate theatre.
“Sabbaton perfectly captures this descent into insanity as he switches between characters, hinting at great and hideous wickedness as elder gods rise from the depths” The List
