Don Weller is one of the UK’s greatest jazz musicians. Having spent most of his life in music, Don has developed a unique sound to match his personal approach. Apart from his association with Stan Tracey’s groups for over forty years, Don has always been in demand as a band leader, from quartet through to big band. He has been an active composer for his own groups, appeared in many films, including Absolute Beginners and Stormy Monday, and co-led ensembles with Bobby Wellins and Bryan Spring. This is a rare chance to see this jazz legend up close in an intimate club atmosphere.
