Mandela: Let Freedom Reign
Nelson Mandela returns from the grave to retell his remarkable, inspiring story from his early life, the struggle against the evil apartheid regime through to taking up the leadership of the South African people.
He describes the 27 dark years spent in prison, including the time on Robben Island. Of his optimism and encouragement on learning the news, that beyond his cell walls, the South African government is forced to contend with the growing and seemingly unstoppable international outcry against his imprisonment and the ongoing atrocities against the South African people.
From his victorious release from prison, to his election as the first black President of South Africa, and ultimately to his renowned inaugural address in which he urges all in the new Rainbow Nation to “Let Freedom Reign.”
