PechaKucha Night x Heritage Open Days
The Media Centre in collaboration with the Huddersfield Civic Society and Huddersfield Local History Society launch Heritage Open Days 2015 with a special PechaKucha Night.
Originating in Japan and now in 840 cities worldwide including Huddersfield, PechaKucha Nights are informal and fun gatherings where people get together and share their ideas, works, personal stories, holiday snaps -- just about anything, using a simple presentation format where you show 20 images, each for 20 seconds.
This special edition of Pecha Kucha Night for Heritage Open Days is curated by the Huddersfield Civic Society and Huddersfield Local History Society. Leading lights in Huddersfield’s Heritage will be taking to the floor to share their insights, wit and wisdom. Anything from the latest research into the town’s history, quirky stories about overlooked and forgotten heritage as well as personal passions and obsessions will all have their moment.
