Head of Finance and Operations - Devon Guild of Craftsmen

The Devon Guild of Craftsmen is recruiting for a key member of the senior management team to work alongside the incoming new Executive Director. Your main responsibility will be to develop, manage, review and maintain all financial systems and records, together with taking overall responsibility for office operations and the premises. This opportunity to have an important role in the Guild will interest someone who is also a good communicator and interested in contemporary craft and the value it brings to makers and audiences. The ability to lead a small but diverse team and to monitor business performance is paramount, as are organisational skills and attention to detail.

Alongside that you will be a team worker with the ability to work with colleagues to analyse issues holistically and provide reasoned judgement. All staff members are also expected to be able to act as an advocate for the organisation and the crafts sector.
