Peter Oswald and Hugh Nankivell present Birdsongs

An extensive series of free verse poems were written by playwright Peter Oswald over several years, many while he was resident at Dartington between 1998 and 2005. These works were set to piano and voice by Hugh Nankivell in 2009. In this performance a selection of these works are sung and played by Hugh and read by Peter.

This is the first performance of this collaboration between two significant South West artists.
