Join the world-famous Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at the St. Alban’s Arena for an evening of outstanding classical music. Featuring your favourite pieces of classical music from Mozart to Beethoven, this concert will be a treat for classical music lovers and new-comers alike.

Opening the concert will be Mozart’s delightfully charming Marriage of Figaro Overture, followed a performance of Tchaikovsky’s fiendishly difficult to play Violin Concerto by the violinist of “fearless intensity” (The Guardian), Tamsin Waley- Cohen.

Having recently been crowned the Nation’s favorite piece of classical music in Classic FM’s Hall of Fame 2014, Vaughn William’s lyrical piece The Lark Ascending will invoke pastoral themes through soothing tones. Closing the concert will be Beethoven’s Symphony No.5. Opening with the four most famous notes in classical music, this instantly recognisable motif has been used in music from disco to rock ‘n’ roll and will bring this concert to a thunderous close.
