Come and Sing Rutter's Requiem
An opportunity to learn Rutter’s Requiem in an afternoon, with the Master of the Music at St Albans Cathedral, Andrew Lucas, for a performance at the Cathedral in the evening. Not only is this an opportunity to sing in a wonderful space with a renowned conductor, but it is also a chance to join in a community act of remembrance by singing this popular Requiem Mass setting during the season of Remembrance. Part of the Cathedral's FIRST WORLD WAR CENTENARY SERIES.
Scores and refreshments provided. Please dress smartly.
Tutor: Andrew Lucas, Master of the Music at St Albans Cathedral
Cost: £12 (tickets to hear the performance: £5)
Venue: Rehearsal at Dagnall Street Baptist Church, followed by performance at St Albans Cathedral
Doors open: 2.00pm
Start time: 2.30pm (rehearsal); 6.30pm (performance).
End time: 7.15pm (approximately)
