The group set a challenge, for each person who wanted to, was to complete an item of about 5000 words in the month of November,:
Richard wrote a polemic essay 'The Future of Britain" delivered in the time frame and the word count
Sarah decided to write Historical Fiction about an early publican of The Dun Cow. She exceeded the time frame and the word count
The other members are not yet ready to unveil their works.
The point of the challenge was because some of us have been in the doldrums of late this would provide some impetus get pen to paper and complete a work.
We all felt it was a worthwhile event.
