Chelsea PensionersSandy Wager, founder of Whitleigh Arts, Plymouth is a visual artist with disabilities, living and working as an artist in Plymouth, Devon, UK.
In her work Sandy prefers to use acrylic paint but also uses ink, graphite, watercolours and recycled items. Her main style of painting is Naive but also has a love for painting Flowers, mild surrealism, sea, sky and land scapes.
Sandy also designs Greetings Cards, Miniature Clay Foody Things, Rock Art and Memorial Stones.
Sandy Wager is a member of The Association of British Naive Artists and has exhibited
her work in Bristol, Plymouth, St Ives, Cornwall, Hertfordshire and Oxfordshire and has sold her work in Australia, Belgium, Italy and America.
Sandy is currently illustrating a children's book in collaboration with Sullivan The Poet, Sullivan is the Plymouth City Poet Laureate, which they hope to have published in the latter part of 2014.
