SAMBA ROC BAND Samba Roc (Robert Owen Communities)
The award winning Samba Roc was formed in 2003 and has gone from strength to strength ever since. They play at public events, carnivals, parties, festivals and weddings up and down the country. They also run workshops for schools and other organisations.
Samba Roc is part of Roc Creative, the South West's exciting arts, media and education project. It is a branch of robert Owen Communities, a registered charity providing education and vocational pathways for adults with learning disabilities.
Based at the Palace Theatre in Paignton, Roc Creative is staffed by specialist practitioners and offers sessions in art, crafts, textiles, drama, dance, photography, creative writing, video and media production as well as samba.

Late night shopping, market and craft stalls and street entertainment. The samba willplay at the Seven Stars hotel at 6.00pm.
Brixham Christmas carnival / Sat 03 Dec 2011
The samba band will play at 3.30pm at the old fish market. The procession then starts at trhe harbour at 4.30.

Samba band performance at 4.30pm in Palace avenue park to kick off the lantern procession. Ending at the Apllo cinema with fireworks and switching on the Christmas lights.
