Business Manager - Harpenden Public Halls

An exciting opportunity has become available at The Harpenden Public Halls, part of Leisure Connection’s prestigious St Albans Contract.

The Halls are set on the edge of Harpenden Common, in very attractive surroundings.

The Eric Morecambe Hall is a thriving local theatre venue bringing the best in Comedy, Music, Drama and Dance to Harpenden. Recent performances have included Al Murray, Lee Nelson and Jenny Eclair. The smaller Southdown Room offers a more intimate performance space.

There is a choice of two halls for hire, accommodating both small and large occasions. A licensed bar is available as well as kitchen facilities.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious, target driven individual to take on the role.

The successful candidates will oversee all aspects of commercial, retail and operational performance of the facilities including programming and event management, whilst ensuring high standards of customer service is delivered at all times.

The Business Manager will form part of a shift rota and be tasked with motivating and developing the team, achieving sales, visitor and profitability targets whilst ensuring an exceptionally high service standard is delivered to all our customers, our client and our partners.
