Creative Learning Practice Programme

A support programme for freelancers developing work with schools, children and young people.

This new programme is designed to support creative individuals or small groups of individuals who collaborate to develop work for, by and with children and young people. It will help you with your planning and give you space with like-minded professionals to reflect on your practice.

The programme will feature:

- training to support you develop and articulate your offer to schools
- 1–1 support from a mentor from the education or cultural sector
- the opportunity to learn about the Developing Your Creative Practice fund from Arts Council England

The total time commitment is six hours of training and three hours with a mentor as well as some personal study. It is anticipated that the training will be a mix of in person and virtual and that sessions with a mentor will be virtual.
