Stanza Extravaganza

Robert Garnham hosts an evening of some of the best locally sourced poets and performers featuring a headline set from nationally-renown Jackie Juno.

Jackie Juno is a writer and creatrix of multi-media shows which combine her comedic, singing, dancing and artistic talents to full effect.
Although Birmingham-born, she has now made a full recovery, having moved to Devon in 1983, and spent years living
close to the earth in a travelling community.
Rebelling at school paved the way for Art College, with its intensive curriculum of drug-taking and music appreciation, with a spot of painting thrown in.
Her first stand-up comedy gig was on her 30th birthday, assisted by the supportive setting of Totnes Carnival and more than a few dry sherries.
She has since appeared at Glastonbury Festival, WOMAD, Hammersmith Palais, Hackney Empire, Melkweg Amsterdam
and Gidleigh Village Hall. (Twice).

Also appearing will be Paul Mortimer, Joanna Hatfull, Ellie Davies, Kenneth Beevers, Tom Austin and others to be announced.
