Female actors required for R+D process, Proper Job Theatre Co
2 Female Actors required for Research and Development of 'Medusa' with critically acclaimed Northern Theatre Company.
Research and Development taking place in October 2016.
Directed by James Beale. Produced by Proper Job Theatre Company.
We are currently looking to find a team for our period of research and development this autumn. Ideally we would like this team to continue onto the next stage of the production with us. See further dates below.
Character specifications:
Character 1: Female, playing age 18 – 25
Character 2: Femaie, playing age 35 – 45
Both characters:
Excellent singing voice, possible operatic training (essential)
Good movement skills /physically fit (essential)
Proficient in a tourable musical instrument (desirable)
Good company member and happy with touring
Interested in a possible long term commitment with Proper Job
You will need to prepare a short audition piece and 2 short songs – one vocal (unaccompanied) and one instrumental (if applicable). Each of these must not exceed 2 minutes. Each applicant will also have a short interview with the Director and be required to take part in a short Biomechanics workshop on the day, you will be allocated a morning or afternoon slot.

Fee: £575 per week (inclusive of all expenses)
Auditions, all research and development and rehearsals will take place in Huddersfield. It is recommended that applicants have a Northern base.
