'Out at the Seaside'
Pride Torbay is the UK's freshest and funkiest boutique LGBT festival, now in its third year.
The dates for this year's Pride Torbay are 28th - 31st of July, so come and join us down on the 'Rainbow Riviera' and please spread the word. The festival is fundraiser for several local charities including Eddystone Trust and Rowcroft Hospice.
More than a dozen events at set to take place across the festival including a boat trip, cinema screening, the premiere of a brand new gay play, a history and heritage walk, cabaret and pub and club nights.
The showcase event of the entire weekend is the Party in the Park in Hollicombe Park, with fairground rides, a dance tent, shopping village, bars, food outlets and main stage acts including X Factor winner Joe McElderry, Diva Fever, Jill Jackson, The Dream Bears, The Sundaes, The Boy George Experience and many more.
To get to the park in colourful style, we are organising a Rainbow Walk from Beacon Quay in Torquay. Dress in one of the six colours of the gay rainbow flag and help us form a human rainbow as we walk to the park!
Most importanly grab your park tickets asap as it looks to be a sell out! They are on sale at the three Visitor Information Centres across the Bay, as well as well as all of the gay venues. You can also buy them online. The park event is open to absoloutely everyone who is open-minded, so come and join in the fun!
