Her collection, ‘Undertones’ which was chosen by the judges for the ‘exciting use of materials and surface pattern’. She added: “My work is very visual and vibrant and inspired by music of 70s and 80s new wave punk; it’s busy and a lot to take in, but exciting because of the use of colour. I also used plastic as a design feature.”
Eppie went to school at Launceston College and excelled in Art-based subjects. She said: “I chose Plymouth College of Art because I wanted a new experience and it offered me a more direct route into my chosen profession.
“The facilities are brilliant and the many projects on the course gave me access to the whole College, the whole atmosphere is wonderful and has given me independence and new experiences.”
