This sculpture started my current series of work creating forms which question they are a form from nature, or from an alien world. Whilst trying to identify myself and my place in my own environment.
The central cocoon shape lights up with a glow when the viewer turns a handle. Meanwhile metal arms move around the cocoon, in a fashion that questions whether they are trying to capture and restrain the object, or are allowing it to be set free?
