Celtic rustic Throne
When I coppice my trees I make something with the wood, I have made "Thrones" from Ash, Yew, Silver Birch and Hazel.
Ash wood is strong and long lasting, this throne was made to fulfill a request to make one for Cockingtons Court's Sculpture Trail.
The spiral is one of the earliest symbols used in Celtic art , the "spiral" in the back of the throne reflects that.
