History Comes Alive

A weekend of living history at Oakwell Hall, including a military display, featuring the English Civil War Society’s ‘Colonel Robert Overton’s Regiment of Foote’ and friends.

Imagine yourself as a resident of Oakwell in 1643 at the height of the English Civil Wars, trying to carry on with day to day life, while 1 mile to the north a battle is being fought between the forces of King Charles I and Parliament.

£5 per adult and £2 per child – includes admission to the Hall.

Please be aware that event will include the firing of muskets.
