Dewsbury's cinema, the New Picture House, is screening "The Other Side of Hope" on Sunday 12th November; a bittersweet comedy-drama about the unlikely friendship between a young Syrian asylum seeker and a hapless Finnish restaurant owner.
Tickets now available to book online on our website –www.newpicturehouse.com and some also available on the door on a first come first served basis. Price is just £5 for adults, £4 for concessions (including unwaged), and £3 for under 16s (12A certificate).
Doors open 6.45pm (45 minutes before screening). Running time is 1h 40m. We have a 15-20 minute interval during the film where we serve a vegetarian curry which you can pre-order ready for the interval. Snacks, hot / cold drinks and homemade cake are also available before / after screening and during the interval, and we also have a fully licensed bar.

Although we cannot offer private car parking (and Heron Foods does not offer parking for the cinema) , on-street parking in the town centre is typically free of charge after 6pm.
