The two musicians here are part of the trio Batignano who first met up whilst they were involved as performers in the annual summer opera festival centered on the remote Tuscan village of Batignano, Italy in 1997. A special friendship was born.

The name conjures up the very essence of what and how the group perform: the renowned classical blend of flute and guitar.
