Call for entries: photo competition on 'Hope & Renewal'
Martin Staniforth is being funded to create a sculpture out of 2 tonnes of burnt timbers from the fire that destroyed Exeter’s Royal Clarence Hotel. This will be a temporary 'Hope & Renewal' installation on Exeter Cathedral Green for Art Week Exeter (May 13-21, 2017). This project is also raising awareness for local charities that resonate with the 'Hope & Renewal' theme i.e. Stop Abuse For Everyone and Headway Devon. You can take part in this creative project by entering the ‘Hope & Renewal’ photography competition. The top prize is a £150 voucher.
It's easy. Just take a photo on the theme of ‘Hope & Renewal’. It can be anything, abstract or realistic. Upload your image, and a sentence to explain it, using the simple form at www.morth.co.uk/hope You'll find terms and conditions there too.
A Selection Panel will choose 10 images for printing, framing and display in Exeter and beyond. The closing date is May 22nd. Now what will you choose to photograph...?
Good luck! And do spread the word.
