Michael Nuth Mike Nuth Artist

I am primarily a painter working also with ceramics,printmaking,sculptural constructions and drawing.
I studied art and crafts at Moseley School of Art from the age of eleven to eighteen.I obtained a B.A.hons degree in fine art and an M.A degree in painting from Birmingham college of art. I have been instrumental in the setting up of artists studios and in the formation of artist led projects such as the Art Farm Project here in Devon.
Over the years I have exhibited extensively throughout the U.K ,taking part in many mixed shows and holding many one man exhibitions. My work is held in various private and public collections.
I have been awarded various arts council awards in the past.
Alongside the production of work over the years I have held many workshops with both children and adults,been involved with various public arts projects , organised and curated exhibitions and worked as a tutor.My work mostly uses the human presence to carry emotion.It is direct,physical,strong and playful.
