New Artist in Residence opportunities

We are looking to recruit two new artists or creative practitioners for two exciting Artist in Residence opportunities at Hertfordshire Libraries.

The My Story Artist in Residence programme seeks to explore the role art can play in health and wellbeing through providing the opportunity for artists to work in library spaces. The chosen My Story Artist in Residence will work closely with library staff to develop a programme of creative engagement, including sessions to inspire all age groups and some work with families and social groups.

Current opportunities are:

Bishop's Stortford Library
* Feb - March 2025
* 56.25 hours
* £1592.85 - £2588.32 (according to AUE rates)
* Particularly welcomes applicants with experience in sculpting, textile art, printing or video production

Oxhey Library
* March - April 2025
* 56.25 hours
* £1592.85 - £2588.32 (according to AUE rates)
* Particularly welcomes applicants with experience in upcycling, sculpture, photography or cartooning
