New Music for New Instruments

Christopher Redgate – Howarth-Redgate oboe and Lupophon
Philip Thomas – Piano

A concert of music for two recently developed oboes, the Howarth-Redgate oboe and the Lupophon; a new design of bass oboe. The concert will include the premiere of a work by Mary Bellamy for Lupophon and piano, recent works for these instruments, improvised music, experimental sounds and some high octane virtuosity.
